Successfully Processing New ISIRs with Collēgix SIS

Aptron, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for higher education institutions, is pleased to announce that colleges and universities using its Collēgix Student Information System (SIS) are successfully processing the newly formatted Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) as of April 4, 2024.

The transition to the new FAFSA system has brought about significant challenges for universities and the vendors who support them. While many other SISes have inflexible databases that require substantial time and effort to adjust their programming, Aptron has quickly adjusted Collegix, which leverages MultiValue database technology, to the new requirements. The end result – Collegix users have been able to process the new ISIRs as soon as they were made available to the schools while other vendors continue to struggle to support the new requirements.

“What sets Collēgix apart is its unique ability to handle ISIR processing with unmatched flexibility,” remarked Tom Makosky, President of Aptron Corporation. “After a 3-month delay in the 2024-25 FAFSA launch and 3 more months awaiting transmission of FAFSA results by the U.S. Department of Education, I am happy to announce that our clients are successfully receiving and importing ISIRs into our Collēgix for both current and prospective students.”
