Acquisition adds Web application development tools and third-party integration
Florham Park, NJ – May 31, 2018 – Aptron Corporation, a leading provider of administrative software solutions for higher education, today announced that it has acquired key assets from Eagle Rock Information Systems (ERIS) Corporation, including Eagle Rock’s WebWizard family of products as well as integration software developed for a number of higher education ancillary application software packages. Aptron will continue to support existing ERIS customers and partners and sell ERIS offerings and solutions worldwide. Portions of the ERIS software will be integrated to work with Aptron’s Top 10 Collegix Student Information System.
The easy-to-use Web Wizard and Data Ready products enable rapid deployment of Data Base information within a browser. With Insta-Pages, a developer can quickly create HTML pages that will read, display, and update ERP files. The WebWizard Reporting App (wwRApp) for Mobile devices extends database reporting natively on mobile devices including Apple and Android phones and tablets as well as on Kindle Fire. WebWizard is currently used by organizations throughout North America to develop specialized applications that integrate with their ERP system.
The ERIS TranscriptsPlus Connector allows Ellucian Colleague users to fully automate the transfer of information to and from Credentials Solutions TranscriptsPlus automated online transcript ordering service. Credentials Solutions is a technology intensive service company that provides comprehensive business process solutions to more than 500 higher education institutions and municipalities across the United States. Additional ERIS middleware was acquired that integrates Ellucian Colleague databases with software from Nelnet Business Solutions and Modo Labs, Inc.
Eagle Rock founder Melvin Soriano will be joining the Aptron team as Director, Integration and Innovation. In this role, Mr. Soriano will lead and foster the ongoing development of the WebWizard product family as well as providing new directions for other Aptron products and services. Mr. Soriano brings with him a shared commitment for excellent service, deep expertise and an environment that supports and encourages clients and employees.
